In the context of Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) and the important part that Enterprises must play at a European level, “Asklipios Diagnosis” responding to social challenges and sensitivities of modern times, proceeded, among others to the adoption of the parameter of Corporate Volunteering.
We have organized and implemented actions, such as becoming bone marrow donors with simultaneous updating of Employees, Customers and Visitors of our Diagnostic Center on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, and creating a Blood Bank with voluntary blood donation on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, exclusively and in cooperation with the University General Hospital of Crete for our Executives and Employees, in case of need.
It is a challenge and, at the same time, a golden opportunity, to multiply the message regarding voluntary blood donation and so that we can contribute decisively, from our position, to the ongoing effort to turn the blood donor population to 100% systematic volunteers.
Furthermore, it must be remarked that the World Health Organization has awarded to our Country the organization of the World Blood Donor Day for the year 2018.
We are dynamically moving forward, with the slogan:
“Solidarity and offer to our Fellowman is our answer to the economic and social crisis. We hope and expect to transmit to the New Generation the concept of Volunteering as self-evident attitude towards life of modern Man”.
